This small housing project is situated in a strangely heterogenic neighbourhood, due as much to its relief, very eventful allowing surprising views over Paris, as to its constructions. Inscribed on a triangular crossroad lot it relates the disemboweled rue des Pavillons where derisory relics of old Menilmontant subsist and the rue Pelleport composed as a homogenious closed corridor by its five to six storey buildings. The site is finally blocked on the west by an autistic 17 storey bar left behind since the constructive effervescence of the seventies.
