Intensifying the formal approach used for the Rue Pelleport, here the folds proliferate into a kind of crumbling in order to constitute a small and complex building, which mainly contains some offices. Thrown down like a crumpled paper facing the monolith that is University of Agen, this object explores a poetics of inertia, simultaneously evoking the strangely Cubist lines of the B-2 Spirit stealth bomber, Yves Tanguy’s ectoplasms and the clapped-out spaceships of Lebbeus Woods. However, the oblique sides getting tangled up to form the external covering have no impact on the orthogonal plan which neatly prolongs the one of the existing lecture rooms.
